When I try to run/Install some apps (Ex. Zombie Gunship) it says I need to upgrade to 4.3. Well, I would, but I have an iPod touch 2g, and 4.2.1 is the highest it goes. Is there a way to trick these apps into thinking I'm on 4.3, or is it really required to run these apps?

I beleive the main reason app devs do this is to ensure no one on older devices get it because it would be too laggy. Imagine playing Minecraft Pocket Edition on your 2nd gen which has 60mb of ram free at most. If you did want to try, go into /System/Library/CoreServices and change the ProductVersion string in SystemVersion.plist to 4.3.3
