  1. I'm not quite sure how the verification works, but would it be possible to put it into DFU mode and then restore? Would it still ask for the credentials?
  2. No, did you even read the thread? ONLY DISABLE THE DAEMONS THAT THE POST SAYS YOU CAN, nothing else. If you disable all then you will most definitely brick your device. If you don't understand this, then it is safer to just leave launchdaemons alone and not touch them.
  3. No, if you read the whole thing, it says to create a backup of the whole folder. Modifying launch daemons can easily turn sour if you do something wrong. When disabling daemons, just use an unrecognized extension, so he used .bkup, you can also use .bak .qwerty .whatever -- since the system can't read it, it won't function. Don't delete daemons unless you know what you're doing.
  4. I don't know if it's just me, but on mobile, whenever I check new content the dates for when it was posted are completely off (idk if it exists outside the new content though).
  5. Dashboard X is a pretty awesome tweak which allows you to put notification center widgets on your springboard Edit: and then again there's Intelliscreenx but its practically uncrackable and $10
  6. WB

I started a thread similar to this a while back, there some good information there! Check it out: http://insanelyi.com/topic/12137-how-to-easily-make-a-theme-permanent/
  7. It shouldn't take very long (it normally takes around 2 seconds) I would suggest going to settings > safari > clear Cookies and Data and then a respring See if that works (it should)
  8. Yeah this is real, there was a thread about this a while back... Anyways, they don't exchange apps anymore, they let you get iTunes and amazon gift cards, or Hulu subscriptions Just btw: I've gotten over $50 from this. Whether its worth the time, Idk but anything free is cool with me
  9. No problem its not that Bluetooth doesn't work on the iPod 3G, it's just that compatibility with HEADSETS generally doesn't work; pairing with speakers and stuff should still work
  10. The iPod touch 3G doesn't have the hardware to support Bluetooth headsets (I've tried and looked on apples page) so sorry, it's not possible
  11. have you tried running the scripts remotely from your computer?
  12. Sorry, I have no idea, maybe try booting tethered? idk, hopefully someone else who has better knowledge over this stuff can help you
  13. Are you sure the cause was updating the Paypal app? Could have it been anything else? I looked on the reviews on the app store for the app, and other people don't seem to be having it. (Maybe this might narrow down what it could be because if youre sure, then its probably some tweak or problem with jailbroken devices in particular) sorry I'm not too much help :-/
  14. You generally don't want to restore from backup when you get a new device as some clutter and unwanted files get transferred. I would start with a fresh restore before doing anything else. If that doesn't work, then go to apple and claim your warranty, win-win for you
