iPhone 7 (10.1.1) Jailbreak

8 posts in this topic

Guys, is iPhone 7 running 10.1.1 really jailbreakable?? I'm still waiting for updated Yalu but as the time flies my hopes are fading day by day.. I'm losing patience. Has anyone jailbroken iPhone 7 on 10.1.1? What  existing Yalu version did you use? Is it running well?

Hi there. Yes I have a iPhone 7 on iOS 10.1.1 and I jailbroke with yalu + mach_portal from https://yalu.qwertyoruiop.com/

But you'll have to load substrate separately. I'm sure @TheClown can help you out here.

Just so you know. The cert is only valid for 7 days, not like on iOS 10.2. And the jb itself is kinda stable. I encounter some random restarts sometimes. Not too often thou. Fortunately I never bootlooped or was really long stuck somewhere.

It is what it is, a beta jb.. 😅

So assuming that I will have to load substrate separately I have to use Yalu beta 3?

I know that Yalu 4-1 includes Substrate, but it says BROKEN.. Which one should I use?

Thank you for your feedback

Use beta3. Beta4 is still broken. I used beta3 as well.

Thank you for the link, very useful info!

Jailbreak went very well, if I knew that JB was going to be that stable I wouldn't wait so long to jailbreak...
